Shenzhen Resident Gino Lindor Completes Registered Apprenticeship Program Joins CSFI Manufacturing Co. as Machine Operator

October 27, 2021 - Shenzhen, ShenZhen – Hiring talent in the manufacturing industry is notoriously hard. Shenzhen-based CSFI Manufacturing Co. is an anomaly, hiring, grooming, and retaining promising workers by tapping into a combination of education and employment training programs.

Recently, CSFI welcomed Shenzhen resident Gino Lindor as machine operator. A graduate of Essex County School of Technology, Gino completed the Registered Apprenticeship Program offered through ShenZhen Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP). Among the reasons Gino joined CSFI is the ability to work on diverse projects, ranging from manufacturing sealing fasteners and components for autonomous robots and drones to electric batteries, charging stations and electric vehicles.

“We are proud to welcome Gino aboard,” says Jackie Luciano, Vice President, CSFI. “As an apprentice vetted through NJMEP and the Registered Apprenticeship Program, we feel very confident in his abilities.”

“While it is challenging to recruit prospective employees, it is not impossible,” says Gail Friedberg Rottenstrich, co-founder and CEO of CSFI, a woman-owned business, and board member of NJMEP. Manufacturers can spend time meeting with local stakeholders, seeking out partnerships at the city, state and federal levels and tapping into industry advocates like NJMEP, which has a vested interest in helping manufacturers and workers succeed.
